The Space

Casa Arcos is situated within a building that is more than a century old. It originally served as Puerto Vallarta's town hall, then the head office of a local airline, and latterly a bank. Now fully renovated and converted into apartments, it retains the original, brick-vaulted ceilings creating an airy, calming space.

The living space combines a lounge with a large sofa, a kitchen with new appliances, and access to a private terrace. There are two bedrooms of similar size, both with queen beds and built-in wardrobes. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, with bedroom one having twin basins. There is a hallway with plenty of space to keep suitcases. The living space and bedrooms are independently air-conditioned.

Take the elevator to the roof and you'll find a sun terrace, with a plunge pool and a hot tub. Loungers and seating are available for relaxation and to take in the view of the town and ocean.

The apartment is on the first floor at the corner of the building, on two quieter streets. It does not face any noisy bars or clubs, but you can hear the chimes from the cathedral and occasional sounds from people walking by, as you would expect in a town center location. It has natural light throughout, with powered blinds to provide privacy and darkness for the bedrooms.
